It should also be noted that not every dream or even potential Christian dream symbol can be interpreted as a message from the Lord. We dream continually throughout the night and at least several 'plays' or scenarios unfold every evening as we enter REM sleep. See What are Dreams for more details. Many of our dreams may be just unwinding from the day's activities or thoughts in your head as you try to sleep. One of the hardest things to do is to decipher an object in a dream from an actual Christian dream symbol or message.

Doing the research as you are doing now is an excellent first step! This means you are taking action to try and understand your dreams and not just ignoring them as many Christian's do - in fact, as many Churches and theologians do these days!
